May is Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month here at BG西游捕鱼. Throughout the month, we want to center the contributions, experiences, achievements, and perspectives of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders and Desi Americans across American history.
APIDA history is rich, complex, and deeply intertwined with the larger history of immigration and race in America. APIDA communities are incredibly diverse, representing a wide range of countries, cultures, and languages, and have made significant contributions to American society, arts, sports, science, medicine, technology, and business.
We invite you to take some time to learn, reflect on, and celebrate their rich contributions., resources, podcasts, and collection items to learn more about APIDA contributions.
Be sure to also engage in the various programs coordinated by the Asian Student Association (ASA) throughout the month!
