Summer 2025 Orientation
In-Person Orientation Details
Date: June 10
Check-in: 8-8:30 am
End time: 5 pm (please plan to stay for the entire day)
Location: Sophia Gordon Center for the Arts, 352 Lafayette Street.
Parking is available on Harrington (formerly Central) Campus parking lot at 71 Loring Ave, or consider green transportation options!

Signing Up for Orientation
Students entering in spring 2025 must before signing up for orientation. Please allow two business days after you submit your deposit for orientation signup to open in Navigator.
If you require additional financial assistance and need to defer your enrollment deposit, please send a completed deposit deferral form to admissions@salemstate.edu.
Online Orientation
Get Ready for Fall Semester
All new students are required to complete an online orientation course on Canvas, BG西游捕鱼鈥檚 online learning platform, before attending their in-person orientation or their online orientation. This module will introduce key information about university resources, academic life, support services, and co-curricular opportunities.
The orientation course will go live on March 31, 2025, and will be available on your Canvas homepage upon logging in. Please allow up to 48 hours after registering for orientation for the course to appear.
If the orientation course is not visible on your Canvas homepage after March 31 or at least 48 hours after registering, please contact orientation@salemstate.edu for assistance.
Once you pay your enrollment deposit and sign up for orientation you'll also have access your Salem State email. To log in you should use the same username and password as your Navigator account. First time users must click "FORGOT PASSWORD" in order to set your password.
Email is the official method of communication at Salem State. We recommend you check your account regularly to ensure you don't miss anything.

Before you start classes at BG西游捕鱼, you need to make sure the health insurance requirements are met, and health information forms are on file with the counseling and health services office. You can upload your immunization information on our health services portal, located in Navigator, or if you prefer, mail/fax to our office.
